Code 43
Alright, I searched to see if anyone else had this problem. I have taken all of my mods off now. The only thing this car now has are the Tr55 spark plugs, and the freer flowing exhaust. Anyhow, I have been getting the SES light when the car is cold. It always goes away(knock on wood) once warmed up. I did a code check and got this. I thought for sure taking the Jet chip out would do it. It did not. Also, my temperature sender unit is not working. That is what my mechanic told me when plugged into the computer. It is also keeping the TCS from working. Do you think these two things are related? Or should I just unplug the battery for a little bit and hope for the best? Thanks,.

Temp sender? Like one of the coolant temp sensors? I don't know which has to do with allowing TC lockup, but they are cheap little guys, just kind of a pain to swap.
The code 43 has to do with the knock sensor. I'm not seeing how they would be related. The code could be a fluke, though. Reset it, then scan it again after a few days.

Agreed...
Reset the PCM allow it to relearn... and see if the code returns...
