Dragging brakes
My '94 Bonneville SE brakes drag for what seems several seconds after I release them.
So far, they do seem to release completely as they are not getting hot just driving down the road. I have several other issues I need to tear into the front end to resolve, but I'd like to get some pointers on this before I try to do all of it at once.
Other issues: worn tie rod end, warped rotor, broken wheel stud, failed ABS sensor... I think there'* more, but I don't remember.
Those are all straightforward R&R issues.
Are the dragging brakes likely caused by crud in my calipers? I had that once on another car of mine. I just want to be sure if I do a normal "Calipers/Pads/Rotors" brake job I won't be overlooking something.
I haven't tried the brakes yet with the front end in the air to be sure which side is dragging or if they both are.
