Default AC Delco PF 52 or fake ?

Picked up a PF 52 oil filter at Advance Auto Parts last week. Started to install this filter when i noticed it was not the same as the old PF 52 . It was about 3/8" shorter, had a quarter sive dimple in the bottom, and had a orange rubber anti-drain back flap. You know the rubber flap you see when you look through the 6 holes in the top of the filter.
The orange flap looked strange like it was in up-side down, or made for another filter.
The box this filter came in did not have Duraguard on it, and had SKU 5140668 instead of long number # 25171377.
Of corse i was not about to use this filter , so i had to drive into town and pick one up from the AC Delco distributer.
Ok i know AC Delco uses different vender'* for the same part, but this filter marked SKU 5140668 looks bogus. If any one has info on this this please help.
