Low oil pressure sensor in oil pan...
How is this removed? I just got a new cast aluminum oil pan from Vital49 and don't want to ruin the sensor. Large hex on the end, does it just unscrew, or what?

I think it would probably fit. I hope it fits my '99. I sent a PM to vital asking what car it came off of because it has a grooved gasket surface instead of a flat one. First one like that I've ever seen on an American ca.
Hex head looks like 1" or so. I'll post a pic later.

Most likely you removed the connector, started to remove the sensor and said "WTF, it won't come out because the starter/frame is in the way.
There are two ways around this.
A. Loosen sensor and leave sitting in pan, drop pan..sensor and pan will come right off. If sensor is not loosened..pan does not want to come off.
B. Loosen sensor, jack motor up until sensor will clear between frame and starter.
