so i have a p1441 code "Evaporative Emission System Flow During Non-Purge" does that mean it'* an evap leak or does it mean something else?

My codes (OBD1) aren't as specific. To me, this would sound like the charcoal canister purge solonoid is stuck in the open position. It COULD also mean you have a vac leak.

Sticky solonoids happen like the *****. Sooner or later, you'll have it, and it'll probably go away.

Keep an eye on it. It'* not a serious issue.

my problem is i have inspection soon, should i spay soemthing into the solenoid to smooth it out?

IN the solonoid. Some WD-40. Squirt into the incoming and outgoing vac ports. Then immediately go for a drive.

You might want to clear the code first, then watch for it to return.

i have the same problem, (EVAP system flow during a non purge condition) on my 98 bonnie se... and so far i havent found a solution, any other tips besides the wd-40, or replacement parts i can find, maby i can get a more detailed explanation of what it exactly does/is?
