How can i tell if I have a 4t60 or 4t65 trans? I have a 97 SE. because I'm thinking of adding a shift kit.

If I'm wrong someone will correct me. But if you have a supercharger it will be a 65e And without a SC it'* a 60e.

Ok sounds good cause I'm N/A. It'* what I thought cause I knew there was a 4t60-3 HD also. so can I put a 4t65 shift kick in a 4t65?

Did you miss type your question? Are asking if you can put a 4t65 shift kit in a 4t60? I'll have to pull the manual and check the shift modulators.
