Default 99 SSEi best oil for over 150K miles

Which one 10W30, 40, 5W 30..etc.

don't know since 150 thousand miles is what it has.
Are there any specs in relation to miles? or Table of specs?
Thanks

5W30 winter, 10W30 summer, Mobil 1 oil recommended

since you're in florida, i imagine it would be fine to run 10W30 year round. oh and a purolator pureONE filter

GM wrote the viscosity of oil they'd like you to use on the filler cap and in the owners manual. Following those guidelines will not lead you into problems.

We should all notice that Miles posted a low oil pressure thread and that is most likely the reason behind the question here of which viscosity to run.

Would it be wise for him to run maybe 10W40 then for low pressure?

put in what the manual recommends

and the AC Delco PF 47 (or 52 for extra filter capacity) are favored here, after all that is what our cars came with from the factory

but in case anyone has forgotten, the Purolator PureONE filter has the supreme filtering media found in the mobil 1 filter, but at about 1/4 to 1/3 the cost.
