Default Broken Wiper Switch?

Hi, I have a 1993 Bonneville SE and whatever piece that holds the Wiper Switch/Lever in place has broke, but EVERYTHING still works, my friend who works at a GM dealership didn't know what part I needed to fix it so he gave the diagram of the steering column of my car, here are the pictures of my broke wiper switch/lever and the diagram of the steering column for my car, hope it helps, so If ANYONE know what I need, PLEASE let me know.

Thank You For Your Time

So I do need a new Wiper Switch? I'm not totally sure because the Wiper Switch still works.

If the switch broke off, then it needs to be replaced. If the switch is not broken, then what is?

I don't know, That'* why I came here because nobody know EXACTLY what I need, my friend was about to order the Lever from his dealership, which was $150 but he saw I didn't need it because it still works, my cousin is talking about getting a Steering Column, which could range from $50 to $100 or more and I know it doesn't need that either, here is a picture showing the back of the Wiper Switch I just took a second ago, even though my Wiper Switch/Lever is hanging loose, I plug them together and they still work, so if I do need a new Wiper Switch, does anything hold it in place in the steering column, if so what is the name of that part because I pretty sure I would need that part too?

Not a very clear picture. There'* either screws or clips that hold it in place. Can you tell if any part of the plastic is cracked or broken?

Chances are, something broke off. You will need to look in the steering column to find the missing part. At least the new switch is not overly expensive.

Ok, I was looking at the Wiper Switch picture I got from Autozone, comparing it to mine and I notice that something did infact brake on my switch and I think it was this part I circle on the Autozone image, so now I'm pretty sure I need a new Wiper Switch, Autozone also have one for $45.99, do you think I need anything else, like I said, the turn signal, and lever still works.

That'* about the same price as rock auto. You should be fine with just the switch.
