As most will say, these engines RARELY blow head gaskets. almost never. but they do have the common issue of the failing LIM. i would check there first.

Let'* have your symptoms. As much detail as possible.

Moving to 92-99. Please don't post mechanical problems in General Chat. Please don't ask for Private messages on the problem either. The purpose of a Forum is for all to contribute, learn, and read.

Not sure what you mean by "I think I blew a head"

Significantly more detail is needed.

Why do you think you blew a head?

As a first troubleshooting step I'd pull the plugs.

Check for coolant and compare the front and the rear plugs.

if it were LIM would that cause smoke from the exhaust and cause it to die?

Check for coolant in the oil, a "millkshake" look on the inderside of the oil fill cap, or draining it all together. If a LIM gasket goes, it can dump a lot of coolant into the engine.
