ok actually the guy that hooked the scanner said fuel pressure was good.i guess maybe the crank sensor allready has went out again,is doing like it was before,i can get it to fire every now and then?i put different coil pack and ICM on it and tried it,same thing
is strange that once the motor gets warm it will crank right up??/

you could pull the plugs and take a look at them, but I'm doubting that they've fouled this quickly since you said you've replaced them and that it runs ok for the most part once it'* started.

Have you changed the crank sensor yet to see if that made a difference? What you're describing with it kind of cutting out while it'* running is exactly what my Bonnie was doing when my crank sensor went south.

Then you didn't take the module. You took a COIL. Check those yourself with the procedure in Techinfo like we suggested several days ago.

The ICM is the device UNDER the coils. Don't take that to be tested. Autozone'* tester is a joke. I've seen bad ICM'* test good, and good ICM'* test bad. One quite recently while helping a member. His good ICM tested bad, and they sold him a junker that didn't work. I replaced a fuse, and the car wouldn't start with the AZ ICM. Swapped in the 'BAD' original, and the car fired right up.

So when you swapped ICM'*, you really didn't swap the ICM UNDER the coils, did you?

i took the coil pack and icm, they were together.they said the icm wasa to new 2 test?
i have tried both on the car and still the same,as soon as i can get the h/balancer off iam putting on another new cranl sensor, before this was the cause of the no crank ...maybe the new 1 i put on is bad allready?welll i hope so.
is there a way to test the ICM? I have the original 1 on the car and the junkyard 1 I got
hooked to the scanner all he told me was misfire code and mass sensor so i replaced the mass sensor, guess the new crank sensor will tell me if the new 1 has allready gone bad...

Make sure you have no bent teeth on the interruptor rings (3x and 18x) on the back of the balancer. Make sure the balancer is installed correctly so the interruptor rings track in the sensor. Check the wiring harness CAREFULLY when you have it apart.

Glad you got it. In the long run, trying to stay on task and communicating clearly really helps us help you.

We could have probably shaved a whole page of replies on this one by doing it better. FYI, the Gearheads had a topic going at the same time about this one. Their discussions were beneficial in keeping this on track for you.

Glad you got it!

I get another gold star for the bent tooth on the interrupter ring thought!
