'95 SLE used transmission match question
Well, I'm looking for a good used transmission and I notice a lot of sellers indicate whether the car had a column or floor shifter. My '95 SLE has a floor shifter. Does it matter that the replacement trans come from a floor shifter too? Don't they both use cables?
I am looking for the same gear option, FW2, 3.06
I have noticed that only '95 na transmissions are offered
Anything else I should be looking for?

Yup, 1995 is the only year that will work, and no, it won't matter if it was a column or floor shifter as long as it is a FW2 tranny with 3.06'*.
P.*. You are using www.car-part.com to locate the trans?

Thanks, OLBlueEyesBonne, for the info. Yes I am using car-part.com, it is a great resource. But the request for quotes service has produced NO replies in 3 days on the tranny and a steering wheel. But, still, it shows you what the market is and what is out there.
I have used them successfully in the past to locate engines.
