Default AC retrofit question

Hey people.
I picked up a 134a retrofitting kit for my 92 today and I've got a couple of questions.
The "low-end service port" is the one towards the cab, and the high end is the one towards the front of the car, right?

Also, I'm a little woirred about one of the little adaptors that came in my kit, when I put it on to start the pumping in the oil, I could hear it leaking even after it was firmly secured.... this is a bad adaptor, right?

Yeah or the wrong one... is it spraying oil all over ?? if not... I wouldnt worry about it... just make sure your compresser cycles in your freon and you hold the can upside down so its liquid. if it doesnt cycle .. clear your codes by unplugging the battery for 15 min. then do it again.

I took the kit back, the leaking adaptor just didn't seem right.
I'm I went to the two local walmarts looking for the kit that I've heard good things about there... one of the stores was out of stock, the other had one that was returned and had parts missing.
So it looks like my trip to the beach in 100+ degree weather may be without AC...
I might goto check out some portland stores tomorrow though.

I believe your 91 has the goofy high-side GM port without the valve stem. Be careful, I don't know if a generic adapter will work.
