The whine seems to be noisiest from 5-20 mph during turns on residential roads. It sounds almost like I have a supercharger at about half throttle while turning. It also seems worse in cold weather after quite a lot of low speed turns, I've had to "instances" as I'd call them, where it got annoyingly loud for a bit, but the fluid was also low, I have yet to hear it really act up like that again, but it still consistently does it'* supercharger-like whine.
