Mine had the SAME problem. The diff pin broke the first time and wore around the entire differential housing finally breaking it, leaking all the fluid out, and burning up the trans. I had it rebuilt, and the same thing happened not even a month later. They welded my old diff pin inside the differential the first time, and the second time (which was free) they just replaced it with a brand new GM unit. The guy also told me he had never seen it before.. If you ask me though, its the ungodly 260 ft-lbs of torque :P j/j
