brake recommendations
My front brakes are finally shot, so now I have an excuse to upgrade them.
Anyone have any recommendations on a good type of pads and rotors to use. I'm looking to improve the stopping power of the car a bit.

I got a set of slotted rotors from DP and a set of ceramic pads from my local Checkers auto parts store. I put them on well over a year ago and they still show almost no wear (and I drive and stop hard alot ). I have better stopping power than the stock breaks and no more break dust. I highly recommend the same setup.

Do you really mean NO brake dust?????!!!!????
I had the ceramic pads put on our Bonneville, and I get less dust. but I still get some. Didn't go with slotted rotors, though. On the white wheels I have, even the slightest dust shows up.
The car does stop quite nice, though.

Ok, I'll buy that.
I was just trying to be sure that I didn't get something different than what I wanted thru Midas, when I got the pads put on. Thanks for your input/response!
