He said the Brake Pressure Modulator valve needs replacing, its $892 CDN....

The antilock codes are a different set of codes. The codes listed in Techinfo are PCM codes. I'll have to look up the antilock codes that you listed.

Sorry, my code index is at home. If you trust the dealer, the PMV price sounds in line with what it costs to replace one. From what I've heard, those are difficult to install. Antilocks are a great safety feature.

OK,

Code 45 - LF inlet valve circuit
Code 61 - Pump motor test fault

One would hope that the dealer did a good diagnostic on the unit. Code 61 could be indicative of a bad PMV.

i think they did, they asked me if I wanted the mechanic to do a compleat diagnostic test on the ABS system i said yes and he spent 2 hours going through it all.
Anways the part he is replacing is called A Brake Pressure Modulator Valve.
