93 SSEi Intake Removal
Anyone have a link for instructions on intake removal and replacement. I tried to follow Chilton, but it just says remove, not how. Anyway, got the */C off last night, and 8 small bolts from upper intake. It still won't budge and I don't want to break anything. Are there more bolts I am missing? Thanks Tim

I assume you're talking about the lower intake? (your SC is your upper) Have you removed the coolant bypass fitting from the passenger side already?
I'm also assuming you're tackling this with a book, so I'll assume you got all the bolts. Try jarring it loose with a rubber mallet. The intake gaskets really like to stick, but make sure you don't damage the coolant fitting on the passenger side. Remove the lower intake towards the driver'* strut bar to make sure.

Done
It was the lower intake gasket leaking the fluid. About a hundred 30.00 and back on the road. Very educational. Found the last bolt down in one of the holes covered in gunk. After that everything went fine. However, the cuprit that started this is stillacting up. I replaced the */C coupler while I had it torn down hoping it would get rid of the loud noise at idle. No Such Luck. Still have the racket.
Thanks for all that helped.

Look at your idler pulleys and alternator for the racket, as well as the harmonic balancer. See if it makes a difference with the ac compressor running or not.
