Default 93 SSE blower stays on

Hello Everyone,

The HVAC blower decided to stay on after I turned the key off yesterday. I read my Haynes manual and did a little searching and I'm assuming it is my blower control module. I pulled it out and unplugged it and the blower turned off.

I have a few questions for you:
1. Is there anything else it could be, or should I bank on the module?
2. With ECC, I'm assuming that I don't have a blower control resistor, correct?
3. I will call the dealer tomorrow but I see Rock Auto has it for $143-178. Does anyone have a better (cheaper) source for one?
4. For a junk yard buy: Am I looking for a 92-99 Bonnie? What about an Olds, Buick, or Chevy? Same module?

Thanks in advance.
Rick

You've done your homework and are right on the money with what you said.

As far as I know it'* a Bonneville only part.

Thanks. I found it locally today. $129 for a brand new Delco part. I'll be picking it up on Friday.

Thanks again,
Rick
