EGR Tube.... can it be fixed?
Well, upon insepecting some of the parts to put back on, I came across a crack in the EGR tube. I don't think it can be repaired, since the location it is in gets smashed by the holddown. See pic here, it is blurry, but you can see through the crack and get a good idea where it is.

Go to the dealer. That'll be hard to get the number for on GMPD. It comes with the bracket that bolts to the end of the cylinder head. The tube cannot be purchased seperately.
Make sure you get a new EGR gasket while you're there.
That crack is allowing unmetered air into the system that the MAF sensor can't read. It'* the worst vacuum leak potential you can imagine. It is running you lean. Stay off of WOT for awhile until you get it fixed.
