Default 93 Bonneville -- Rear door won't open

The passenger side rear door wont open from the outside or inside. The lock is functioning, I am assuming the child lock must be engaged and the rod to the outdoor handle must be disconnected. I figure all I need for a fix is a clip, but..... Any ideas how to get the door open so I can get the fixing done?

The only thing that comes to mind is a door un-lock kit like a slim jim. Maybe a AAA, tow company or a lock smith can do it.

Pop the door panel off.

It'* going to take some Spiderman acrobatics, but it can be done.
I think you would need to remove the lower back seat.
Couple of screws on the bottom of panel.
Remove door light. 2 screws behind that.
Remove plastic behind door handle, Torx screw
Remove plastic trim piece top of pull to close door handle. 1 screw.
Then with a putty knife, wedge between panel and door to pry the panel away from door releasing all the press fit plastic thingies.
Pull door panel up out of window sill.

So anyways. I have the door panel off, it looks like both the inside and outside door handles are working, the rods are moving the little rocker, but it looks like the piece that goes into the latch assembly might be broken, and therefore the latch is not releasing. Anyone have any ideas how to get the latch to release?

Edit:

NVM I managed to bust off enough of the plastic casing on the latch to get an awl inside and push the release on the latch. Oh well, had to replace the latch anyways.

This is a common problem with this car had to replace the whole rod assembly all you have to do is put Window down and reach inside and pull a little harder and the door would open.
