Default Fuel line part number?

I swapped out what appeared to be the original fuel filter the other night. As soon as I saw the rust on the ff, I soaked it with PB. She broke loose with little effort. When I was spinning the filter back and forth to free up the threads, I started getting dripped on from the upstream tank side quick connect fitting. I'm pretty sure I didn't tweak the line to the tank. The lines on the pump are extremely rusty, but I don't think they have any holes. I couldn't find a part number on gmpc, and it doesn't look like it'* even offered in the aftermarket.

Now, when I have fuel pressure in the lines, I have a slow leak that runs down to the fuel filter and drips on the ground. I suspect it is the pressure line leaking, the others should be return and evaporative correct? With 163k on the clock, I should do a fuel pump, but I'd rather wait till it'* above 50 deg at least. I may not have a choice if the pump lines are bad. That leak may have been there prior to me working on it too, but just didn't notice it. There was a real bad gas smell in the interior when I bought it.

Anyone have a used one (or all 3) from a parts car? I'll post in the wanted section too.

Is this a problem on the 93 or 99?

On the leak, is that coming down the outside of the line or is it possible the quick connect or o ring are not sealed properly.

The rust on the lines going forward is pretty normal.

Sorry, the 99. I haven't pulled anything apart yet, but based on what I was seeing the other night, it looked like the upper (away from the floor and closer to the tank) pressure line connector was leaking. It looked like a b^&*!@ to disconnect without taking a bath in it. Is there anything servicable in these or is it just replace? I'm headed out after supper to see what I can figure out, otherwise it'* headed to the shop tomorrow.

If it'* the line to filter conneciton then it'* probably the o ring or the clip isn't fully hooked in.

Looks like you're right. I can't get my hand up there to squeeze both tabs at once to disconnect it, but neither one of them will press in. It'* going to the shop tomorrow where it can be their problem. It'* leaking pretty bad now too. One of the lower conn. had a bunch of rocks in it so I was having trouble squeezing that one too. I suspect that is the problem. Thanks for the help.

I used a super small screwdriver or pick to help the tabs reseat and hold properly.

What a bummer . Shop got it up on the hoist and found there were holes rusted through the steel lines coming out of the tank. That is separate from the pump, and is a GM-only item that I could find . They found a used one in NE so I'm having it shipped here pronto. With any luck it will have lower miles and come with a fuel pump and no rust.

Interchange book said only 98-99 SC GP, Bonn, and maybe a few others, but somewhat limited usage. Moral of the story, keep the under carriage clean in the saltbelt.

I have a leak in the same place you are describing, although it doesn't appear that the line on mine is heavily rusted. Did you ever get a part number for that fuel line from the tank to the filter?
