Default Front break calipers compatiablity?

I am probably going to have to replace/rebuild my front break calipers soon and I need to know if calipers from a newer bonne will slip on no problem. I could get calipers from just about any 2nd gen. there are even a few 98/99'* there, bonne from the local junkyard and I would rather use those since they have fewer miles on them.
