the hoods are the same. the reason why they might look dofferent is becasue the 96-99 have more curves than the 92-95. The grille and the bumper on the 96-99 is curved ans pointed. The grille and bumper on the 92-95 is more so flater and the grille matches up with the hood.

Question no.1 The differences from the SLE and the SSE was that there was a chrome trim on the outside window strip, no badging on the trunk for the SLE, no air pump or electronic load leveling, no compass or electronic guages for the Driver information center, dash board is similiar to an SE pretty much.
Question no. 2 Just the outside shell. But again the chrome lining outside the window is on the SLE(All refering to the 98-99 SLE)
