code18?
Thanks for everybody'* help.
I replaced my starter and she runs like a top.
I did notice that I had a SES light and using a staple between the a & b terminal I got 1 long followed by 18 short. VIN L
I could not find anything for that combo.
Anybody run into this before?
Thanks

Thx Purp.
I have a 90 burb, and have pulled codes off that the same way. In fact, I've reprogrammed the ECU on that.
So, I guess I should have asked if leaving the ECU in this 1994 Bonnie 3800 overnight without power could trigger a code 18 or cable around the starter could get crushed, cut or pulled and cause a code 18.
Thanks again

Ok,
I rechecked the codes and with a little patience, code 43 popped up as well.
43 knock sensor
or electronic spark control circuit fault
Can anybody shed some light on what I need to do?
Thanks

All,
here'* a quick update. I disconnected the battery, and waited 30 seconds. fired her up. SES light gone.
Drove about 10 seconds and poped up again.
Now it'* only complaining about code 43.
WHere is the knock sesnsor on a 93 bonny Vin L?
Thanks
