Dont think there is a GM P1401. Could be the reader means 1404, bad EGR., they do that sometimes, especially cheaper models. I have read in other places that code 1404 is sometimes mistakenly displayed and GM has a reflash for it, not that it may be the case with yours. Is the car driving rough? What kind of a scanner was used?

Found it
P1401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) flow test fault
I would remove the EGR when the car is stone cold (EGR'* get hot quick and stay hot), checking the pintle valve on the bottom. If it doesn't move in and out freely spray some carb cleaner into to the EGR and work the valve with something like a screwdriver until it moves freely.
Give it a try, most likely you'll be back up and running for the cost of some cleaner.

Ok, I googled it.
Found it'* the evap flow when no flow requested code. This usually points to a bad vacuum line or misrouted one. Check your vacuum diagram under the hood and replace any vacuum lines from the TB to soleniod and then to the canister.
