Default Wiper blade/arm question

i have a 98 sle and i bought some new wipers that require a clip to install... do i have to take the bayonet style or pin attachment off of my wiper arm to get to the C shaped clip on my wiper arm or do i need to buy new wiper arms?

You should be able to replace just the blades. You will need to squeeze the clip and pull the blade out.
