Default UIM bolts backing out on L36

I replaced the LIM and UIM on a 1998 L36 about a year ago. Now it seems to be loosing a litle bit of antifreeze again. When I checked the UIM bolts I found that they were loose. I am quite ceratin that I torqued them to 89 inch pounds when I installed them a year ago. Now they need to be turned 1/2 to 1 1/2 turn to get them to 89 inch pounds. Was I supposed use locktite or thread sealant on these bolts?

I put a dab of red RTV on threads. That keeps the coolant from seeping up the threads.

UIM bolts don't go into coolant ports. The FSM doesn't suggest any locktite. And at 89 inch lbs.. that'* the right torque. Maybe a touch of locktite. They are small bolts.

Thanks! I will pull the fuel rail and put a dab of medium loctite on each bolt and retorque. I thought I read somewhwere that you should recheck the torque after a week or so. I can't imagine a mechanic telling you to bring it back in a week so he can remove the fuel rail and retorque the UIM.
