Boggin' on a hard right turn...?
I checked the fluids, etc. this last weekend and it looked like I needed about a half quart of oil, so I put it in.
During the workweek, I made the right turn onto the freeway onramp and experienced a 'bog' until I straightened out the car.
Edited to add: I noticed a little 'puff' of smoke that I've never seen before...
This only happened the first time. I've not seen the puff of smoke again.
Curious, I tried it a couple of more times and found that the bog repeated itself.
Other than looking at the oil dipstick to see if I'm overfull on oil, is there something else that is going on, or should I drain and refill the oil with a lesser amount?

Thanks. That sounds right, as I'll be filling the tank today. It'* down around the 'low fuel' mark at the end of two weeks.
Good reason to keep the fuel tank more full.

Something else that happened while extremely low on fuel was the 'check gages' (they just couldn't spell that correctly, could they?) light came on and some of the gauges froze.
I restarted the car and they worked for a while until the next time.
When I filled the tank, I topped it off BIG TIME, to the tune of 19.257 gal. of 76 Super at $2.13/gal. for $41.00.
SHHEEIT. Was I empty or what?
Did that cost a wad to fill up?
Anyway, the gauges didn't freeze up and the car didn't stall around the corner - yet.
I'll try it again tomorrow.
