brake lines gone help with info
92 ssei needs brake line replacements. i think lines are 3/16 sae flare ,a1-3 nuts.does that sound correct?will be using copper-nickel alloy lines. Does anyone have comments on any common problems or tricks to get the job done, and does anyone have the order of the brake lines on the abs modulator (ex, front to back).
Also, garage replaced proportioning valve with brake line on one side, is this a problem?
Thanks for all the help!

Rule #1: Buy a good double flaring tool. I got the $65 Craftsman one after killing a Harbor Freight one. Talk about easier and nicer. I don't mind doing lines since buying the tool.
Rule #2: Follow the directions for the flaring tool. Makes things much easier.
On the size of fittings an order. Not sure, replace only one line at a time and you won't have any order of lines issues.
There was another member Bandit, who removed the proportioning valves. He drove the car that way for years and never once noticed a difference. My thought is .. it'* ok.
