Have to rev the car to keep from stalling during startup
Not sure if this may be a specific problem with just one solution or just need of a tune up, which I already have planned on sunday, but wanted to get some advice if theres something I should do also.
When I first startup the car, I have to rev the car myself to 500/1000rpms for a second or two and then let go in order to keep it from stalling out and dying on me. It has no problems after this during any driving conditions (around town, highway, coming to a stop, etc).
If I dont 'manually' rev the car it will die, and will give me some trouble on the second startup, as in it wont be as easy to do it again, but will eventually startup.
Do you think it could be the fuel filter (which I have already purchased) or fuel pump, loose hose? The chassis has 289k, and the motor has around 70k.
Thank you!
