Default To Dexcool or not to Dexcool ????

I have a 97 SSEi which is supposed to have Dexcool in it right ? Well, the color of it is pink.

Now I went to get some extra Dexcool from the store, as I am gonna change out the t-stat. And the only Dexcool I could find was Prestone Dexcool, but it is orange. It says it is used for GM cars and is Dexcool compatible.

Is it the same stuff ? Will the pink and orange mix ?

Thanks everyone

BTW, is Dexcool really bad to get on your skin ? I mean, is it ok as long as I wash it off or should I totally avoid touching that stuff. I heard it was bad stuff.....

Cheers,

Actually different manufacturers use different coloured dies for their product.
