sandrock is on a distinguished road

Well, I tried to stay optomistic...now I guess it'* time to be more realistic

I guess 175k on that transmission is pretty good....too bad I put less than 100 miles on it

I think I am going to look for a core transmission first. LKQ has them for about 75 bucks out the door, and there is an SSE sitting there. True that it isn't an HD, but I can swap diferential housings around when the time comes. Maybe a performance shop can cut me a better deal than a chain...or maybe not. I got a few months to decide what I am going to do. In the meantime, I am going to work on the interior just so there is progress on this car. I will top off the fluid just so I can drive it around the complex so they can't say it isn't mobile.

And hope that nothing else gives.
Welcome, downwardly mobile yuppies, to the dawn of the Age of Nefarious.
1993 SSEi - FrankenJinx - dead and gone.
1994 SSE (136K strong) - 180* t-stat,HD alternator, most unequipped SSE on the club, XM radio, Kenwood CD/MP3.
2006 Chevy Malibu Maxx LTZ - Custom 2.25" manifold-back exhaust w/FM-80. Probably the only Maxx with this system.
