you have the FE1 rack.....and you also have the T2V which is the 2 flow electronic steering....
the rack is fairly easy to find, since its the most common
the pump on the other hand needs to have a electrical connector on the back to ensure that the T2V is still functional.....alot of the pumps dont have the connector

Thanks for the reply- that'* what I needed. And you're right, it is the electronic unit- I replaced it about a year ago, but I shoulda done the rack too- I'm gussing that'* what took the first pump out initially. Really starting to make noise and Momma ain't happy- well you know the rest.

You're lucky. You have the inexpensive rack. If your symptoms point to it, replace it, but leave the pump for now.
Don't underestimate the power of your belt tensioner to cause PS problems though. That one nearly bit me in the arse.
