TPS question
If you remove the TPS from the TB, can it just be reattached, or will you mess up the settings when you remove it?

Make sure the arm is on the correct side of the throttle shaft pin when you put it back. Other than that, it'* only a pita to get the screws in and out at that angle. My advice is to have a magnet right there while you do it. ON the screw going in and out.

Willren, I am sure that you missed the fact that this is a 99, and of course has the Series II VIN K engine. The TPS is on the front side of the T/B and very easy to replace.

I replaced the one on my 92 bonneville sse , and it'* the adjustable type but it has to be WAY to the left for the SES light to go off and then the car is very sluggish, takes a mile or more to get up to 45, if I adjust it alittle more to the right it go'* better but the SES light comes on and I get the code #22 TPS low voltage, and the car will backfire if I don't feather the gas !
