I know there are already a good deal of posts concerning wheel studs, but I'm looking for clarification. I have read people used wrenches, sockets, or impact guns to pull the new stud into place. I put a large nut to fill space on mine a few minutes ago before I read that it might be an ok plan, and just tried to tighten it a little. I chickened out quickly and came to read about it. I have an impact/sockets to do this, but I have just seen so many different methods, and conflicting interests that I want to be sure I'm taking the right information.
Is using an impact gun a good idea? I can't swing a hammer under the car with any effectiveness, and I'm getting all kinds of cranky lol.

Never mind,
I just went ahead and did it. So far, so good. Was kind of scary what it took to get that in place. I was just waiting for disaster to strike.
Sorry if this was a redundant post, but I will say that using an impact worked awesome for me, and I didn't break anything (that I know of yet lol)
