Check the vacuum lines going into the side of the throttle body and try cleaning the EGR before you replace it. The EGR code will be thrown if, when the EGR is commanded to open, the mixture does not lean out significantly. This can be caused by things other than a bad EGR, usually a vacuum leak. I got this code for a while some time ago and cleaned the EGR. That didn't fix it, but the loose vacuum line did. An iffy MAP sensor can contribute to this as well if it isn't reading the manifold pressure correctly. Regardless, if you are short on cash, this is not an urgent problem. You can drive it with a bad EGR almost forever, except you will have the light. If your state does emission testing, this will cause you to fail as well.
