Default Both front power window motors need replacement.

My both power window motors are ALMOST dead on my SSE 1988.
Is there any aftermarket motors replacement available?
The ACDELCO part number ACDelco Part # 12497971 is not available anymore at GM.
Your help will be very appreciated.

Default motors

I have used Delco motors and they went again just like the originals. I suspect I also had a weak circuit breaker that was stopping the motors.
I would go with the Advance Auto lifetime motor if I was to do it again.

How long the ACDELCO ones stood before they got weaker again?

Mine has been in about 3 years (drivers door), and it is occassionally getting slow. The motors must not be wound very well. All of my other cars have fast window motors.

I have found genuine DELCO parts at ROCKAUTO and succesfully replaced my 2 motors.
Now, I need to take care of all the skins cuts resulting from this adventure!
