Default More brake problems.

Ok. So a while ago i asked you about my brake lines. Got them all replaced today, entire rear setup. Now when the engine is running, i don't have a pedal unless i pump it up with short strokes of the pedal. Even when i do that, if i let off the pedal then push it steady it sinks to the floor. There IS breaks at the very bottom of the pedal barely. I bled the brakes, so what'* the deal? It'* not leaking cause the master is still full. Help would be appreciated! Also, it'* an '87 so it'* not the TEVES system, if that makes a difference.

Straitor.. what was that thing you replaced.. something with the MC, and it not being installed right? And you had all air in your system up till the end or some **** like that?

Did you bench bleed the MC? Did you bleed all the brakes, both front and rear, very thoroughly, like even after not receiving any air in the system [to get the crud out from the new lines and MC]?

Well, I did learn a step I've since added to my routine. After changing the MC out I drive the car for a bit and slam on the breaks to make the ABS enguage in order to bleed the ABS PMV.

I'm not sure what all you had to do to replace the lines, but if you had to play with the adjustment of the rear brakes to get the drums off for anything, you might need to readjust them again to take up the slack.

I know, I know, they are supposed to auto adjust, but I know that mine don't anymore, and his might not either.

'twas just a thought.

Yeah, mine will adjust sometimes. Usually only when using the ebrake. I can hear them click when reversing.

Few more things. One, it doesn't have ABS. Two, yes i bled the master on the bench. So i'm probably gonna have to wait till it warms up and bleed front and rear again.
