Default Doorlocks, trunk has a mind of its own!

My bonnie has unlocked its doors, unlocked its trunk on numerous occasions. I would go out in the morning to find my doors unlocked along with the trunk. This doesn't happen all the time, it seems intermittent, I think it happens most often after a heavy rain. I called the local dealer and he told me to disconnect the remote entry system, which he says is located in the driver door. Have any of you guys ever experience this?
Please help!
I never use the keyless entry and i do not mind having it disconnected if this would solve my problems.

I wouldn't know the remedy, but perhaps something is shorting out, causing the doors to unlock/lock? If you ever left the car unlocked, do the doors lock on their own?

Thanks for responding. No the door locks would not locked on its own. it doesn't lock/unlock on its own, it seems that maybe someone else around my area may have another GM vehicle and when they use their keyless to unlock their car maybe it unlocks mine too, I'm not sure.

Hrm....shared signal? I think thats unlikey. The FCC number on each FOB is unique, however it may not be impossible. I have a tendancy to think it electrics within the car. And once the electrics start wiggin out, I throw up my hands and yell

Since the car learns the remote, not the other way around, it'* possible to program your remote to operate more than one car (assuming it'* compatible in the first place). How you could do this by accident, though, I don't know.

I have an idea that the Keyless Entry module is somewhere under the dash in one of the multi-function brackets; if I can find it in my service manuals I'll get back to you. You can try unplugging its wiring harness, and if the symptoms stop after that, I guess that'* your problem area. Since the power locks and trunk release circuits are otherwise pretty much separate, I can't think of any other component that they have in common besides the Keyless Entry controller.
