Well, let'* do this from scratch. Just to make sure we are dealing with recent codes, we should clear them first. They could be old codes and are no longer current.
1. Disconnect battery cables.
2. Might as well clean them up good, now that you have them disconnected.
3. Reconnect.
4. Start car drive around and if you instantly get a light on. Check for new codes.
5. If light doesn't come on, your good to go.
You should always get a DTC 12. From what I have read.
