Default Another question about the Delco Ignition

I read and reread the threads on this swap, and didn't catch it, my question is: The swap requires the mounting plate and new coils, but what about the ICM? I have a '90 Bonneville w/3800, do I need to swap the ICM as well?

Thank you,
David

Yes, the Magnavox and Delco ICMs are two completely different modules. That is the heart of the system. You can get a Delco ICM off of any H-Body from 93-99, however 97+ with the Supercharged Engine has hotter [better] coils. If you don't want aftermarket coils, those are the ones to get. 92 also had the Delco, however it also had the Magnavox. So be careful if pulling from a '92.
