First; By the term 'window tape' I am assuming you mean the nylon band that the window lift motor spools in and out to move the windown up and down.
Second; Are you sure it is the tape? Can you hear the motor move when you toggle the window switch?
Either way, the door will need to be opened up by removing the inner door panel. Disconnect the window motor electrical plug. And drill out the mounting rivets on the motor assembly. Slide the assembly out of the small access hole toward the front of the door. The window lift motor and nylon tape guide are riveted together as a single unit, but can be seperated once out of the door.
