I wish WJ!!
Its getting a shampoo after the AC conversion. The label seems to have seperated itself from the backing in some areas, even as I pushed it back down, I still was not sure if it was a 6 or a 5

Where'* padgett when you need him. He had some insight into this.

Don says 0.060", padgett 0.045" with Magnavox. My dad and I were standing over the hood during a plug check, we were trying to figure out which to use - but because things were good as they were, we kept things at 0.045".
Discuss?

I think you should try .060"
This Chilton'* (POS) manual covers 1986-1999 models. It says .060" for all engines except VIN 3 and L, which are .045"

Run .060 Gaps with the Magnavox or Delco Ignition on the Vin C engines...
The old Rapidfire 3 plugs came from the factory with a .045 gap and that gap was not be changed... With the later Rapidfires that did not have the splined electrode, they were gap as reccomended by the manufacture...
So weather you run the Platinum Rapidfire 3 or 14, NGKTR55, AC Delco R44LTS6, R45LTS6, Champions or Autolites... Make sure you gap at .060
