Default Dead battery

My 88LE has twice in the last week had a dead battery. On friday last week I went out to clean out the car and noticed the dome lights didn't come on. Ohh crap. So I get out the battery charger and charge it enough to get it to crank over. I let it run for about 30-45 mins to charge the battery back up. I shut the car off and restarted it fine 5 mins later. So today I go out and check it again and the battery is dead again. On friday I made sure I unplugged the radar detecter and shut off and pulled the faceplate off the stereo deck. I didn't get time to recharge the battery today but what could be the cause of the battery dieing. The battery is barely a month old. Would maybe the sub amp be pulling some charge off the battery when the car is off? Never had this problem till I got my new bonnie(damn old one is probably jellous). Before the car never sat for maybe a day or so at a time.
