So are you getting a code 26?

And the Quad driver controls a few things such as the TCC, EGR, Purge Solenoid.... On and on...
Thanks. I'm getting codes 26, 27 and 28!

Will this quad driver need to be replaced then? Where is it located and what does it look like?

It'* either every device controlled by that driver or the ECM itself. The quad driver is part of the ECM.

From the sheer numbers of issues you have, I'd be tempted to get an ECM.

Default ECM

My yard charged me $20 and I swaped it out back and forth a couple times to see if that was an issue. Its a standard ECM that you could get out of a Buick or Olds but you have to swap out your MEM Cal.

Thanks! I think I will get an oxygen sensor, a TPS, and a P/N switch and see if that makes the car run any better. Failing that I'll look into a new ECM. Which I'm a little worried about - it could be expensive for me as you don't find Bonnevilles in junkyards over here!

Just a quick question: Are the TPS and P/N switches exactly the same as found in the Olds Delta 88 and Buick LeSabre?
