I understand that you're just checking for a signal but which wires are for the 3x signal. Doesn't the crank sensor have 4 terminals?

I looked at the plug that goes into the sensor and the one that goes to the harness and looked for a common wire. I found a white/red stripe wire on both and checked for continuity and they were in fact the same wire.. I then plugged the wire into the sensor and checked the voltage..and it oscilated between1.5 and 4.5 mv, so something is coming out of the sensor so I know it isnt broken. It is a brand new sensor, so its highly likely that the sensor is working properly.
Also, the manual says that is being used as the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. It has two slots reading two different rings on the harmonic balancer so it cannot be too far away to not get a reading. It would hit the other ring and break, just like it would if it was too close..

Im sure there is a possibility of the sensor being defective and not putting out enough voltage but since its brand new and the ICM that I bought from BillBoost was used, the probabilty of which of the two is not working would have to be the ICM.

hah.

Ok, this is very simple. I had absolutely no problem with mine. Heres a pic of mine setup.

Count cylinders standing in front of the engine. (Front of car.)

2-4-6
1-3-5

Plug them in accordingly.

You should have no problem from then on.

Ok...oops.. Kinda figured out what you're saying now.

Just reverse those two wires on the top coil and test.

Otherwise sounds like a bad ignition coil set...or just one bad one.

I have another problem besides the initial question I posted this thread about, wj. The ICM is bad. I pretty much know how the wires go, I was just making sure it wasnt the cause of why I wasnt getting any fire.

Of course I'll take care of it. Soon as I get back, I'll check and get another ICM in the mail as soon as possible.
