Default PCV Valve

Ok, So where is this thing located at on an 89? Is it the thing that comes out of the valve cover with the hose attached to it? If so why does it look different than most other PCV valves I've seen before?

I remember it is hard to get to, and it is an L-shape.

IF you have a VIN "C" engine(which I believe you do), it'* on the passenger side of the intake manifold, buried under the ignition wires. Once you locate it, it pulls right out. The AC-Delco Part # is CV899C.
