Default Tire F-ed up

I was coming home from work about an hour ago, and i stopped by Kwik Trip to grab some hot dogs, and other things, and when i pulled out of the parking lot i heard this squeky(sp) noise, like walking on the floor with your shoes wet. When i got home I felt the tire and its sunk in one spot, not bald but sunk it. WTF!?!?! Any ideas, time for new tires?
Thanks

a) sunken spot sounds like a tread separation (or actually a place that had not separated. Yet) Haven't seen a cupped tread for many years.

b) The strut bearing can make the most piercing squeak imaginable. Is usually at certain speeds. Have had to replace both on our '90 SE.
