New owner with 3 problems
Hello i am new o the forum and and have three problems.
1 My 1991 bonneville SSE has a problem with the recline button on the 9-way power seats, when i press the button all i feel is a kick in the bottom of the seat, this only happens with the drivers side seat.
2 My power atenna is broke, the nylon sting has snapped. I am wondering how exepensive a replacement is.
3 My SSE has white rims, i have seen others with the gold diamond shaped ones, were these rims only for certain years or were they a special option.
Your help is appreciated

Hi, Welcome to the Club!
1. someone will chirp in here...
2. One of the Big PPL will get you a part number. then you can go to gmpartsdirect.com for 40% off dealer retail!
3. The Gold Crosslace rims are a special option part of the Gold package on 90 and 91 Bonnevilles only. These rims are not to easy to locate!

but the 15" silver crosslace rims are much easier to find. they came on LE/SE'* 88-91. bonnieboy21 did this very thing. he had a 91 LE and took the 15" silver crosslace rims and painted them gold and put them on his SSE.

I wish I'd known, I got rid of mine recently- but they were pretty banged up though. But there is a newer rim- that is similalar- it came on 92-99 models- bolt patern is the same. But the benefit- you don't have to worry about the center cap flying off- or getting the center cap period- which is very hard tp find in good shape. Where are you located?

2. Power antenna....don't buy the replacment mast for $12 from GM. It won't have the nylon. Only the full assembly will. I suggest a wrecker for that also. That'* what I did about 3 months ago. Jr's3800 can tell you if the 87-91 is compatible with the 92-99, but I'm almost certain it is. That being the case, get one from a 99 if you can. Mine was $30.
3. Bug one of these guys about the wheels
