LOSING TRANNY FLUID AND CAR JUMPS
HI I NOTICED THE OTHER DAY WHILE DROPPING MY WIFE OFF AT SCHOOL THAT WHEN IM AT A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND THEN WHEN I STEP ON THE GAS THE CAR GIVES A A NICE SIZE JUMP. ( A BOOMP SOUND)
I DID BOTTOM OUT THE FIRST 2 DAYS I BROUGHT MY WIFE TO HER NEW COLLEGE BECAUSE I DID NOT NO THAT THERE WERE TWO POTHOLES SIDE BY SIDE FROM EACHOTHER EXACTLY 1 FOOT AFTER THE SPEED BUMP SO THEY CANT BE SEEN IF YOU DONT ALREADY NO ABOUT THEM. SO YESTERDAY I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR TO SEE IF I BROKE OR CRACKED A MOTOR MOUNT BUT I GOT SIDE TRACKED BECAUSE I SEEN ATLEAST 6 OZ OF TRANNY FLUID (PINK LIQUID) COMING FROM 4 DIFFERENT SPOTS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY RADITOR. I DONT NO IF ITS MY TRANNY IT SELF OR JUST A LINE THAT CRACKED FROM BOTTOMING OUT OR THE MOTOR MOUNT AND A TRANNY FLUID LINE. I DONT NO WHERE TO LOOK AS THIS IS MY FIRST 1988 BONEVILLE SSE. 75,528 MILES AND STILL GOING. I LOVE MY BONNIE. I THINK EVEN MOR THEN MY WIFE... .

Fist thing.... Please do not type in Caps... Its like yelling..
Next, It sounds as if you have a bad tranny line and the rubber hose may have seperated or popped in which case you may need to replace both lines.. You need to get under there and check it out before the trans gets damaged..

You only have to press this key
once and that problem goes away.
Any transmission leaks are serious and should be dealt with immediately. It'* most likely a tube to the radiator got tweaked when you bottomed out and it split. It'* cheap to fix, unless you're paying someone else to do it. The boomp you describe sounds like a motor mount has separated. Also something that needs to be fixed soon.

fixed
thanks everyone i replaced the tranny fluid hose thats under my radiator which was rusted so cracked easy. fixed that problem for $68.
next i had to replace both front and rear motor mounts for a total of $75 for both. they were badly rusted and trashed. car is sweet with new interior and paint and sound/ video system but its frame is not in the best of shape as she sat for 3 years out side a family members house.. but hey 75,000 original miles and $1000 of work later she is back to her original roaring, cloud floating self again.. wow i love these cars.. i al,most forgot how good they drive.. motor mounts make a big difference.... thanks ya,ll.
